About Stefan Hartung, Creative Director, Kick

Stefan believes great design is more than merely pretty. Great design provides a great experience, whether it’s for your major branding campaign or your next product package. Stefan’s idea of a Shelf Kicker is a product or package that makes such an impression with consumers, it pushes your competitors off the shelf.

He’s stubborn about pushing creative ideas until he’s sure they’ll deliver on client objectives — and then he pushes some more. Probably because he’s German.

Stefan serves on the board of directors of AIGA Minnesota and on the advisory board of his U.S. alma mater, UW Stout.

Stimulatté events are a free social gathering and programming, developed for design students to create new connections. Hosted at a design firm or coffee shop, we are usually in the presence of a professional guest.

Please email Abby Kallas with any questions or to host a Stimulatté for students. Follow @aigamn for updates.

Responses to Stimulatté: Kick

  1. This sound like a very interesting event. I’m a new AIGA member. I teach interactive media, Web design, and 3D Animation in the Visual Communications Technologies Program at Century College, White Bear Lake, MN. I’m wondering if educators attend this event as well as students? Another question – we are conducting a search for another Interactive Media / WebDesign instructor and would like to post the position document on the aigaminnesota Website. Is that possible?
