Everyone at college should have a chance to unwind with friends.
A faculty social for Twin Cities design educators will be held on Thursday, January 31 at the Devil’s Advocate. Take a much earned break from preparing the next generation of designers to join your education colleagues for drinks and dialogue—more or less of whichever you choose. Design educators are used to being ahead of the curve, so check out this venue a full week before the rest of the membership at the February Cocktails with Creatives event.

About Devil’s Advocate
Opened by the same owner of the Ugly Mug, the Devil’s Advocate is a gastropub with 40 varieties of tap beers. Their food is centered around a selection of various “protein” balls (beef, pork, chicken, salmon, falafel) along with other delicious upscale pub fare. The brick building they occupy was built in 1907, originally called the Handicraft Guild building. It was home to wood and metal workers, weavers, other artisans within the Arts and Crafts movement, and more recently, Hell’s Kitchen.
About the Education Committee
Sponsored by the AIGA Minnesota’s education committee, the event is part of our design educator’s quarterly get-togethers. These events are intended to facilitate and reinforce connections between the state’s visual mentors.
