Everyone at college should have a chance to unwind with friends.

A faculty social for Twin Cities design educators will be held on Thursday, November 14 at Common Roots. Take a much earned break from preparing the next generation of designers to join your education colleagues for drinks and dialogue—more or less of whichever you choose.

About Common Roots

Common Roots Cafe serves good food made from scratch morning, noon and night. Their kitchen and bakery uses local and organic ingredients to create a monthly-changing menu of innovative offerings. Since opening in 2007, they are very proud to be a part of Minneapolis’s vibrant local food movement. They categorize their purchases from the day they opened their doors, and on average their ingredients are 50.2% local (within 250 miles of the cafe).

About the Education Committee

Sponsored by the AIGA Minnesota’s education committee, the event is part of our design educator’s quarterly get-togethers. These events are intended to facilitate and reinforce connections between the state’s visual mentors.
