*All attendees are responsible for making their own lodging reservations; lodging is not included in the registration fee. Attendees are highly encouraged to stay on-site at Grand View Lodge, where meals and easy access to conference event locations are included. Due to high demand, rooms sell out quickly. **AIGA Student Member registration: AIGA Minnesota is able to offer 100 tickets to student members of AIGA at the heavily discounted Student Member price point. These will be available on a first-come–first-served basis; there will be no wait list. Student members who wish to attend Design Camp but aren’t able to secure a heavily discounted Student Member ticket are welcome to attend by purchasing a ticket at the moderately discounted Associate Member price point. Students must complete their own registrations online and pay with their own credit cards. Because of our extremely limited volunteer resources, we are unable to accommodate registering blocks of students or processing group payments via check or institutional credit card.

  1. I’m looking for information on cost for the design camp 2011. Even if you sent me info on the cost last year that would be great, I realize this info may not be available. I just need an idea of how much to budget for it, thanks!

    We’re currently working on modifying our registration system to handle group discounts. More information will be released this summer, along with the official mailing and website.

    Design Camp, as listed at the top of this page, will take place from September 20 until October 2.

  9. @zane I’ve gone several times over the years. Both as a college student and now as an emerging designer. It is a great experience! I’d highly recommend it to you and your peers.

  11. @Christine Camp is held annually at Grand View Lodge in Nisswa Minnesota. Registration will be opening soon so keep checking!

    Lodging is not included in the price of registration for Design Camp. Attendees are responsible for booking their own lodging. To experience the best of Design Camp, we strongly recommend staying on-site at Grand View Lodge.

    Prices for Grand View Lodge listed below include lodging, all meals (from lunch on Friday to breakfast on Sunday), refreshments during breaks, and use of the pool area, tennis courts, and other facilities.

    Single Occupancy at Grand View Lodge: $241.00 per night
    Double Occupancy at Grand View Lodge: $174.00 per person, per night

  15. @Gbriggs Workshop information is available here:
    The Collaboration Lunches are more informal gatherings that will take place over the lunch break. More information on these will be available closer to Camp.
