Design Show 2012

Design Every Day.

Design is all around: Everywhere we go, every day, we’re surrounded by design. And the more of it we see, the more we appreciate the work that transcends the ordinary, elevates a company or cause, and changes the way we think. The 2012 AIGA Minnesota Design Show is a celebration of that work: Design that’s anything but everyday.

Online Entry is now closed.

Entry deadline: extended to April 13

Entry to the Design Show will be via an online entry system. We’ll ask you to upload photos of the work, and, in many instances, mail or drop off physical samples. Online Entry is now closed.

Opening reception: May 4, 2012

A reception to premiere and display the winning entries and celebrate the Minnesota design community will be held on Friday, May 4 at Shelter Studios and will feature a panel discussion moderated by Doug Powell, national AIGA President, with judges Sarah Labieniec, Bobby C. Martin, Michael Shea, and Bonnie Siegler. Register Now »

About the Design Show

The AIGA Minnesota Design Show highlights the most exceptional design work being produced in the upper Midwest and showcases the power of design in today’s culture. This annual competition is independently judged by leading design professionals from across the country and is structured around the entry’s ability to solve the problem of communicating both design’s effectiveness and aesthetic appeal. Selected entries are presented at the Design Show’s opening reception and are showcased online for the following year.
